Frequently Asked Questions About Mobile Laser Tag Parties

Which laser tag option is best for my child’s age?

Hero Blast is designed specifically for ages 4 to 10 with lightweight handheld units, adjustable sensor vests, and no headgear required. Tactical Laser Tag is perfect for ages 8 and up with professional blasters, head-mounted sensors, and competitive team missions. For mixed-age groups, we can provide both options at the same event to ensure everyone has age-appropriate fun.

How many players can participate?

We provide 10 professional laser tag sets with additional equipment available for larger groups. Pricing is per event, not per person, and we rotate players so everyone gets multiple turns. Each game lasts 5 to 6 minutes with most 90-minute parties including 10 to 12 action-packed games, ensuring every guest stays engaged throughout the event. Additional equipment can be added for $20 per set. Events with more than 16 players participating simultaneously require a second Game Coach to ensure safety and smooth gameplay. Our laser tag systems accommodate groups from 10 to100s of people.

Do you provide supervision during the event?

Yes. Every event includes a trained professional Game Coach who manages gameplay, explains rules, assists players, and keeps everything running smoothly from start to finish. We recommend that a responsible adult from your party remain nearby to serve as the main point of contact and assist with any guest needs, ensuring the best possible experience for everyone.

Where can you set up laser tag?

We set up indoors or outdoors at backyards, parks, school gyms, community centers, and any open space. We bring inflatable bunkers for strategic cover and all equipment needed for exciting gameplay. We typically need space roughly the size of a basketball court for optimal gameplay and safety.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Laser tag can be played in light rain since our equipment is weather resistant. For severe weather like heavy rain, lightning, or unsafe conditions, we can move indoors if you have a suitable venue available or work with you to reschedule. Your safety and fun are always our priority.

Do guests need to bring anything?

We recommend players wear something on their heads such as a baseball cap, bandana, or headband to make the head sensors more comfortable for Tactical Laser Tag. Hero Blast requires no headgear. If guests don’t have anything, we provide bandanas for three dollars each.

What makes Rolling Video Games different from other laser tag companies?

Unlike companies that offer only “non-military, kid-friendly” equipment, we provide age-appropriate options: Hero Blast for younger children (ages 4-9) who want safe, fun play, AND Tactical Laser Tag for older kids and teens (ages 10+) who want realistic combat missions and strategy. Plus, if weather threatens your outdoor laser tag party, we can pivot to our climate-controlled game truck or indoor Game Hub. Single-service companies cancel your event—we save it.
