Laser Tag Party FAQ
Find answers to common questions about our mobile laser tag parties, including safety, equipment, setup requirements, weather policies, and booking details. This information is designed to help families, schools, and event planners understand what to expect when booking a laser tag experience.
Laser Tag Safety and Equipment
Is laser tag safe?
Yes. Our laser tag system uses infrared light similar to a television remote control. There are no lasers involved and no physical contact between players. Safety is our top priority. Before each game, we inspect the playing area for hazards and review simple ground rules to prevent collisions or tripping. Players enjoy a high-energy experience while remaining safe.
Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully insured. If your venue or organization requires a Certificate of Insurance, we can provide one at the time of booking. Please let us know your insurance requirements in advance.
What size space is needed to play laser tag?
We are flexible with space. A minimum area of approximately 40 feet by 80 feet can be used, although larger spaces allow for additional barriers and more dynamic game scenarios. Indoor and outdoor locations may be suitable depending on conditions.
Are there age limits for laser tag?
Laser tag is appropriate for players ages seven and up. Because the game is safe and adaptable, participants of all ages can enjoy playing.
What are the laser tag guns like?
Our laser tag equipment uses a high-powered infrared system. Each player carries a lightweight gun with an integrated sensor and display screen that tracks gameplay.
What are the barriers like?
We use commercial-grade pop-up barriers in a variety of shapes and sizes. Barriers can be set up on grass, sand, or indoors depending on the venue.
Weather and Outdoor Play
Can you play laser tag in the winter?
Yes. Laser tag can be played during colder months as long as conditions are safe. If temperatures are extreme or weather conditions become hazardous, we may discuss rescheduling options.
Can you play laser tag in the rain?
In light rain, gameplay may continue if conditions remain safe. The equipment is weather-resistant; however, player safety and enjoyment always come first. If surfaces become slippery or unsafe, the Game Coach may pause or stop play. Once setup has begun on-site, refunds cannot be provided due to weather.
Gameplay, Group Size, and Booking
How many games can we play during our event?
The number of games depends on the type of missions selected. Standard games typically allow for five to six games per hour, including instruction and equipment setup. During the booking process, we will help design a schedule that fits your event goals.
How many players can play at once?
We currently have equipment for ten players to participate at one time. Additional equipment may be added for an extra fee. Games typically last six to ten minutes, allowing players to rotate in and out. Larger groups may accommodate up to twenty players with sufficient space.
Do we need to pay in advance?
Yes. Payment is required to secure your reservation. Dates and times are not held without payment.
I submitted a booking request but did not receive an email. Why?
Please check your spam or junk folder. Some email systems may filter messages related to video games. Be sure to mark our emails as safe to ensure future communication reaches your inbox.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, Venmo, and major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Returned checks or declined payments are subject to an additional fee.
Should I tip the Game Coach?
Tipping is not required but is always appreciated for exceptional service. Leaving an online review is another great way to support our team.
